Greetings, Salutations and a Caveat

Hey dudes, I've been pretty busy lately, Jiawen should know. I'm suddenly involved in a debate competition that I didn't know even exist, and I'm the team captain.

It's next Wednesday at the Science centre. Which is kind of cool, cos' my friends back in the Science Society aka Slacker's Society are also concurrently involved in a competition there for some reason. If they're free, they might evne drop by :).

I have three debates, 2 prepared, 1 impromptu. The motion is "This House Would Allow Private Companies to Explore Space". Not divulging the details of my team's case now, and it's secret for the time being.

Anyhow, ladies and gentlemen, I have this extremely important warning for all you people: NEVER EVER EVER attempt a literary analysis of the lyrics of the NY school song. We all know it sounds terrible, especially with the xylophone accompaniment, and that musically, it is a flop.

Now, the thing is not only is it terrible in the musical sense, the imagery contained in the song is something that would shock even a psychoanalyst well-versed in the theories of Freud. But sometimes a graceful palm tree is just a graceful palm tree... albeit one that is ...standing... alone and being a ...lonely... sight to see.

Alright people, I shall not be responsible for whatever images the NY school song conjures in your head. You have been warned! *Runs*

"Anything too stupid to be said is sung" -Voltaire
