Symmetry

The universe is built on a plan the profound symmetry of which is somehow present in the inner structure of our intellect

SYMMETRY
SYMMETRY: reflectional symmetry About the y-axis

The word 'symmetry' is not naturally symmetric, but with a little bit of effort, anything goes :). This design was created way back in 2003. And this remains one of my favourites, despite the fact that the last y is inverted.

The best part of this design, if you ask me is the interlocking 'mme' section of the word, a very clever solution if I do say so myself. However, some tweaking was needed to ensure that the leftmost 'm' did not turn into a 'B'.

You can see more ambigrams in the wordplay section of my photobucket album, here.

And yes, I do 'requests', but I've been really busy lately, so maybe the ambigram.matic will suffice. The results are hideous, but could act as a starting guide. It generates ambigrams with rotational symmetry only.
