Oh joy!

Yes, I'm alive, but I'm sick again. There must be something wrong with my immune system nowadays. Well no, I didn't contract anything from the lab, it's probably just from my brother, who probably got it from those hot, dusty and slimy disease incubators that are otherwise known as primary schools.

Also, I'm uh... working now. I'm working in a lab. Most of my friends are doing admin, haha, take that! Some of them are doing relief teaching, though. At least one is doing factory work. I learnt that my sec school is in need of english teachers... good luck finding those.

I also watched Top Gear on BBC today. There's just something appealing about a show on pure unadulterated lust for engineering in general and cars specifically (but it's mostly cars)... This episode was nothing much, just a dog racing against a Mazda M5. The dog won. What a great way to usher in the year of the dog!

Honestly, there ought to be more engineering-type/architecture/science shows in this vein. I mean, what's with the droning voices and kitsch we get on most of them? Science shows have improved tremendously, I must admit, but most of them a children's shows. Where's the passion? The humour? The sarcasm? The wit? The geekiness? Yeah, I know some folks prefer their stuff serious (I say such people need to get a life, what's with all the seriousness?), but it's the TV, for goodness' sake. Entertaining and mindless, just take with some grain of salt.

On another note, I did one of those online test thingies... and it said that I am SUPREME NERD GOD... sheesh... what's with that? That test is soft core. As far as the 500 Nerd Purity test is concerned (it's quite dated! Who the heck doesn't own a computer with more than 1 MB of RAM nowadays? Everyone FTP's anonymously now and again, with or without realising it too), I uh... answered yes to over a little more than half (259/500). So I guess that makes me just entry level. No test graphics for you tho. :p.

That's it for now.
